Riga
Riga is the capital of Latvia and offers everything that you would expect from a capital city. It has an interesting history as it has been occupied by a selection of countries and therefore has had many different influences both architecturally and culturally. The old part of the city can be got to by bus and then walked around and is full of bars and restaurants. The more modern part of the city can be reached by bus or tram. There is also a cathedral, castle, churches, towers, museums and many other historical buildings, a circus, zoo and forest park to look at.
